Phil Foden scored an outstanding goal to equalise for Manchester City in Sunday’s derby against cross-city rivals, United, at the Etihad.
City had scuffed plenty of chances during the first half when Foden popped up to produce an incredible finish on the edge of the box in the 56th minute.
The England star took a touch before rifling his effort with power into the top corner to finally put the derby hosts back on level terms.
However, Marcus Rashford fumed that he was fouled by Kyle Walker in the build-up to Foden’s outrageous effort that wiped out United’s advantage previously handed to them by his equally-brilliant opening goal.
Former United full-back and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville praised Foden’s ‘special goal’ and waved away suggestions that Rashford was illegally impeded.

‘Speaking on Sky, Neville said: ‘We’ve seen two special goals. United are asking for a foul on Rashford. Lindelof doesn’t do enough.Β
‘The power, the accuracy is incredible from Foden’s left boot.
‘I thought it was soft, there’s nothing in that. He’s got to stand up, Marcus Rashford.’
