Man wins lottery after dreaming up winning numbers

  • Victor Amole won $400,000 in a January 13 lottery drawing in Virginia
  • He says his winning numbers came to him in a dream 
  • ‘I’ve never had a dream like that before,’ he told the Virginia Lottery 
  • The computer programmer plans to invest his winnings

A man who won $400,000 in a lottery drawing last month says the numbers came to him in a dream. 

Victor Amole says he dreamed about the numbers 3-10-17-26-32, and then used the numbers to buy four identical Cash 5 tickets.

‘I’ve never had a dream like that before,’ Amole told the Virginia Lottery in a statement.

All five numbers matched the drawing on January 13, giving him the top prize of $100,000 for each ticket. 

The computer programmer says he plans to invest the money. 

The Virginia Lottery says the chances of winning the Cash 5 game are 1 in 278,256.
