Manchester United and Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring Borussia Monchengladbach forward Alassane Plea.
The 28-year-old is ready to leave Germany this summer and, with one year left on contract, could be available for a relative bargain at £15million.
Plea, who scored his 11th goal of the season in midweek against Hoffenheim, is quick, can play across the frontline and has a goalscoring ratio of one in three. He cost Gladbach £21million from Nice in 2018 and had interest from Arsenal prior to that.

Arsenal are fearful about Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaving
Arsenal have concerns over the futures of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, with Lacazette still unsure about committing to a new contract.
United would like Dortmund’s Erling Haaland – who added two more goals to his ever-increasing tally on Saturday afternoon – but don’t have the finances to compete in the current market. They are also struggling to convince Edinson Cavani to stay.
France international Plea represents good value while his ability to play central or wide with pace would at least give United options and fit in with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s style.
