Manchester United are looking to sign Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer this summer but Juventus are eager to offer the midfielder a new one-year deal.
Rabiot’s contract is set to expire at the end of this month and Juventus want to keep him.
As reported by Calciomercato, Juventus met with Rabiot’s mother as they look to persuade him to stay.
United attempted to sign Rabiot last summer, with Juventus accepting a £14million bid. However, the move failed to materialise, with Rabiot’s wage demands of £250,000-a-week proving an issue.
Although United brought in Casemiro last year they are eager to make further additions to their midfield, with Rabiot one of the players under consideration.

However, Erik ten Hag’s side could be left frustrated as Juventus want to keep Rabiot
Rabiot, who has been at Juventus since 2019, made 32 appearances in Serie A this season and scored eight goals, while he provided four assists.
Prior to signing for Juventus, Rabiot was at Paris Saint-Germain.
United could allow Fred to depart this summer, with Fulham interested in signing the midfielder.
That could create space in the squad for a player such as Rabiot.
