Manchester United coaches reportedly believe that they already have the next Cristiano Ronaldo at their disposal.
Undoubtedly one of the greatest players of all time, Ronaldo initially played for United between 2003 and 2009 before returning to the club in 2021 and leaving in November 2022.
In total Ronaldo made 346 appearances for United and scored 145 goals, while he provided 64 assists.
There is a belief at the club that United have a player who can go on to be a huge success like Ronaldo.

The player in question has already made a major impact for Erik ten Hag’s team
19-year-old winger Alejandro Garnacho has been impressive for United this season and coaches at the club feel that the Argentina international is capable of reaching great heights.
Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, host Rickie Haywood-Williams said: ‘People are saying that they reckon Garnacho is going to be…’.
Tom Cairney then responded by saying: ‘What, like the next Cristiano?’
Haywood-Williams then said: ‘That’s what they have been saying, that’s what I’ve been hearing.
‘We can’t predict these things but from the murmurings I’m hearing coming out of Old Trafford, they are saying that he has the potential to go to that level.’
Garnacho draws inspiration from Ronaldo and was able to play alongside the legend on several occasions.

Signed from Atletico Madrid in 2020, Garnacho was involved with the first-team last season and has made an impact this season as he has scored five goals and provided three assists in the Premier League.
Garnacho possesses much flair and is a very exciting player to watch, with defenders often finding it difficult to deal with him.
Whether he will be able to reach Ronaldo’s level remains to be seen but Garnacho has continued to catch the eye.
