Manchester United could well have new owners by the end of the season, according to reports.
The Glazer family, who have owned United since taking over in 2005, announced last week that they are open to selling the club, having explored ‘strategic alternatives’ at Old Trafford.
Although no timescale has been placed on the takeover process, the BBC understands that the Glazers would most likely sell Manchester United in the spring if they continue in their plans to leave the club.
