A Portugal youth international who previously represented Switzerland, Pereira is in his fourth loan spell away from United.
The talented shot-stopper previously spent time with Rochdale, Belenenses and Vitoria de Setubal.
This season Pereira has played nine times in the league for Kortrijk, although he has been on the bench for the last three games.
So far Pereira has made three competitive first-team appearances for United, one of which came in the Premier League against Crystal Palace in 2017.
Pereira’s current contract at United runs until the summer of 2021, although with the likes of David de Gea and Sergio Romero ahead of him, he faces a considerable challenge to fully establish himself in the first-team.
