Manchester United are interested in signing Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, according to a report.
Erik ten Hag’s side are looking to add another shot-stopper to their ranks after they allowed Dean Henderson to leave on loan, with first-choice David de Gea in poor form at the start of the Premier League season and only Tom Heaton is reserve after Dean Henderson joined Nottingham Forest on loan.
According to Bild, United have already made an offer for 32-year-old Trapp, who was part of the Frankfurt team that won the Europa League last season.

Trapp has made 160 appearances for the German club since joining from PSG in 2018
It’s unclear if Frankfurt will accept the offer for their number one, whilst Trapp himself be reluctant to move and potentially play second fiddle to de Gea with minutes guaranteed in Germany.
Trapp joined the club in 2018 from PSG, originally on loan before the move was made permanent a year later.
He has made 160 appearances for the club in all competitions and has picked up six caps for the German national team since making his debut in 2017.

ten Hag’s side lost 2-1 and 4-0 to Brighton respectively in their first to games of the Premier League campaign, and face rivals Liverpool tonight at Old Trafford with protests planned from supporters.
Brazilian midfielder Casemiro is set to be confirmed as a United player this week however, with ten Hag overseeing an overhaul in playing staff.
Wantaway forward Cristiano could still leave the club, despite ten Hag’s insistence that the 37-year-old remains in his plans.
