Manchester United’s assistant coach Eric Ramsay ‘agrees deal to become Minnesota United’s new head coach’… but he won’t join until after they’ve played rivals Man City on March 3

Just two days before the start of their season, Minnesota United seem to have found the man to lead them as head coach.

32-year-old Eric Ramsay, an assistant at Manchester United, is set to leave Old Trafford to become the next head coach of the Loons in Major League Soccer, according to The Athletic.

He’ll become the youngest coach in the league by a gap of seven years. The next-youngest coach is Nick Cushing of NYCFC, aged 39.

But Ramsay seems set to miss the first two games of Minnesota’s season as he finalizes his departure from the UK.

He won’t be leaving the Red Devils until after they’ve played Manchester City on March 3.
