The trio escaped by removing a speaker from the wall, crawling into the wall and then using blankets to repel themselves into a maintenance room where they kicked down the exit door.

Police said the men stole a white 1990 Ford F-250 truck from one of their uncles, but that vehicle was recovered later in the day in Lafayette.

It’s unclear where the men are going.

Ferguson was awaiting trial in the death of Brandon Michael Fye, whose remains were found in a wooden area of Macon County in August. Ferguson had not entered a plea yet. He was next due in court in February.

TBI says Ferguson should be considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as being 6-foot-2 and 150 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to Ferguson’s arrest.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
