Authorities were called to the wharf to interview the skippers of the ferry.

The three injured people suffered minor injuries and were assessed by staff on board the ferry. Paramedics were not required.

Manly Fast Ferry director Richard Ford told the Manly Daily the cause of the crash of the Ocean Rider was still being investigated.

“We go through lot of checks during the safety repairs to find out what problem was and that all authorities are satisfied before it goes back into service,” Mr Ford told News Corp.
