‘Best day ever,’ the newlyweds captioned their Instagram post.

Among the guests were Jake’s teammate James Tedesco and his brothers Tom and Ben.

The al fresco celebrations included a sign which read, ‘Welcome to our love story’, as guests sat under leafy tress as the couple exchanged vows.

A gravel road was lined with white blooms which matched the bride’s bouquet of flowers.

The bride was seen laughing happily during the ceremony before the pair shared a sweet smooch.

Jake appeared to write his own vows which had his bride giggling as he read them aloud into a microphone.

After the ceremony, guests mingled outside and enjoyed glasses of champagne to celebrate.

The newly married couple sat at a table flanked by a white tablecloth and clinked glasses to mark their new life chapter.

The couple had announced their engagement on social media in February, sparking an outpouring of congratulatory messages from the footy world.

The rugby league star took to Instagram too announce the exciting news at the time.

In a joint post with his girlfriend, the 30-year-old NRL prop shared several pictures of himself and his new fiancée.

The couple smiled in the photos, with Alix showing off her engagement ring.

‘We’re engaged!’ they shared in the caption, alongside an emoji of a ring.

Trbojevic’s former Manly teammate Corey Waddell, and his fiancee’s brother, was quick to respond.

‘The best! So happy for you both. Congrats!’ Waddell wrote.

Teammate Aaron Woods responded to the pair, ‘Best ever cobber congratulations legends’.

Footballers James Tedesco, Damien Cook and Cameron Murray also passed on their regards.

The good news came after Manly teammate Reuben Garrick announced his engagement to long-term partner Riley Wishart recently.
