Manor Solomon’s girlfriend Dana Voshina has expressed her pride after the Israeli forward joined Tottenham on a five-year deal.

Tottenham announced the signing of the forward on Tuesday with the winger free to leave Shakhtar Donetsk due to FIFA regulations allowing players at Ukrainian clubs to suspend their contracts.

Solomon joins the North London club following a season-long loan at Fulham, where he recovered from a knee injury before scoring five goals in 24 appearances.

The 23-year-old was pictured alongside Voshina at his unveiling at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday.

Voshina declared her pride in Solomon’s achievement at joining Spurs, describing the club as ‘incredible’ and their ‘new home’.

‘There are no words to describe how proud and happy I am for you to sign with such an incredible club as Tottenham, which is going to be our new home,’ Voshina wrote on social media.

‘Can’t wait to see you on the pitch!’

Solomon and Voshina have been in a relationship since 2018 when the forward was playing for local Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva.

He then joined Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2019, with the winger twice winning the Ukrainian league title.

Solomon became the youngest Israeli player to score in the Champions League when he netted against Atalanta in October 2019.

Voshina had been pictured in the stands supporting Solomon at Craven Cottage during his successful loan spell at the club.

Solomon enjoyed an impressive run of form in February and March, where he scored in four consecutive Premier League matches.

The winger had described his move to Tottenham as a ‘dream come true’ in an interview with the club’s website.

‘I feel the excitement here, straight away. I see the players, I see the club, I see what is going on here, everything is at the top, at the highest level.

‘Every football player dreams to play for a club like Tottenham and now, with the new manager coming in, I think there will be some successful years for this club.

‘I can’t wait to see the team and to meet the manager. It’s going to be different with the new manager. The football will be more offensive, more attacking, it will entertain our fans. I can’t wait for the season to start.’

Solomon is Tottenham’s third signing of the summer under new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham made former Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario the first signing of the window and have since lured England international James Maddison from Leicester for a fee worth £35m.

Spurs have also confirmed permanent moves for Pedro Porro and Dejan Kulusevski, who had both been on loan at the club.
