Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been enjoying Christmas dinner with his family amid uncertainty over his future.
Rashford posted a picture on Instagram of himself and his family accompanied by the caption: ‘Family time – Happy Christmas everyone’.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from United after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim.
Amorim, who started work as United boss in November, has left Rashford out of his last three matchday squads – against Manchester City, Tottenham and Bournemouth.
In a bombshell interview last week Rashford, who has spent his entire career to date at United, indicated that he is ready for a new challenge.
That led to suggestions from Amorim that it wasn’t Rashford’s decision to give the interview as he questioned the player’s entourage.

Amorim suggested Rashford was wrongly advised by his entourage about wanting to leave
Amorim said: ‘It is a hard situation. I understand that these players have a lot of people around them, and they sometimes make choices that are not the first idea from the player. I understand, I can separate things.
‘I am always here to help Marcus, as any other player. They have to do what they have to do. They chose to do the interview because it’s not just Marcus. I understand that.’
Speaking to Sky Sports, Amorim added: ‘As a coach, I just focus on performance and the way he trains. The rest, it is better for me and the club to deal with that when the time comes.
‘At the moment I focus on improving Marcus. We need a talented guy like Marcus in this moment. I forget the interview now and see what I see on the pitch.’
Amorim has revealed that Rashford wants to return to action for United, with the coach saying that it is his decision to leave him out.
The United boss insisted that he knows what he is doing with regards to omitting Rashford from the squad.
Amorim said: ‘Yeah, it’s my decision. He wants to play. He is trying. It’s my decision, only my decision.
‘(There’s) no situation. When I feel that is the right moment, I will change something. Until then I will continue to think about what is the best for the team.
‘I spoke with a lot of players individually during training, so I’m trying to do things my way – and it’s the only way I know. If I don’t do that, I will lose myself, and I will not lose myself. I know what I’m doing.’
