On Monday, the wives and girlfriends of AFL stars endured hours of beauty treatments and ‘glam’ in preparation for the esteemed Brownlow Medal red carpet.
And while many of them found it hard to balance all of their appointments and fittings, new mother Mardi Dangerfield managed to breeze through the entire process with her two-month-old baby boy by her side.
To show off just how well she’s honed her multi-tasking mother skills since giving birth, the doting mum took to her Instagram page to share a snap of herself feeding little George in the middle of her glam session.
‘The little King gets what he wants when he wants it,’ Mardi, the wife of Geelong star, Patrick Dangerfield, wrote alongside the photo, which was taken by Ebony Tannouri.

The behind the scenes snap drew praise from a host of Mardi’s followers, who commented on her ability to juggle so many tasks at once.
The real deal before you walk the red carpet!
‘Brilliant photo and breastfeeding multitasking is pretty real mum life. Take it easy on yourself and good luck with frock,’ one woman wrote.
‘That’s what we call multitasking. Good job Mumma. Have fun tonight you look gorgeous,’ another added.
Another added: ‘Love it Mardi, the real deal before you walk the red carpet.’

Little George, who was born mid July, accompanied his mother for her dress fitting as well – a task she was proud to say was completed all in one go.

In June, Patrick revealed he would still play a match even if wife Mardi went into labour mid-game – a decision Mardi approved of.
‘Well if Mardi was to go into labour during a game, I wouldn’t leave it… I would finish the game off,’ he told YouTube show Unscriptd.
‘I’ve committed to it at the start, that’s just the decision that you make.’

‘He weighed in at seven pounds and 12 ounces, and just over half a metre, so we’ll be keeping him,’ joked the Brownlow Medal winner to Fox Sports at the time
Mardi said: ‘If there’s another hour-and-a-half or another hour of game time to be played, then you could probably finish your game and then hit the highway.’
Despite this, Patrick wasn’t playing when his wife went into labour on a Tuesday night.
‘He weighed in at seven pounds and 12 ounces, and just over half a metre, so we’ll be keeping him,’ joked the Brownlow Medal winner to Fox Sports at the time.
‘I won’t lie to you. When I saw that little willy, I could’ve done cartwheels.’
