Maren Morris displays her curves in sheer floral dress as she steps out in NYC ahead of appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Maren Morris was a vision of springtime style as she stepped out in New York on Tuesday.

The singer, 33, who took part in a tribute to Elton John and Bernie Taupin at the Gershwin Prize ceremonies, chose a floral print for her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The Girl singer arrived at the Ed Sullivan theater wearing a curve hugging sheer green and black floral halted dress.

The flirty frock by David Koma featured a high-low hem with a train in the back.

The CMA award winner wore a pair or high heel gladiator sandals, with the black leather laces tied around her calves.

Her brown hair was styled in loose waves and she wore camera ready makeup with a neutral lip.

Modeling the look on social media, the Craving You artist wrote, ‘florals? for spring. groundbreaking.’

The line was spoken by Meryl Streep’s character Miranda Priestly in the 2006 hit The Devil Wears Prada.

‘One of my favorite movies!! That line never gets old,’ commented a fan.

‘”Is that “the” David Koma green floral dress? yeah it is.”‘ wrote another.

The artist has been promoting her new children’s book, Addie Ant goes on an Adventure, which was published Tuesday.

The hitmaker wrote the story with her best friend, Karina Argow, a former English teacher.

The idea was sparked by the songwriter’s experience reading to her son, Hayes, four, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Hurd, 37.

‘I’ve always wanted to do some sort of children’s book or children’s album, and then, Karina is like, “Well, I have a whole cast of characters in my head because I garden all the time and I just create bugs in my head,” and I was like, “Well that’s half the work,”‘ she explained about the process on CBS Morning.

Once she finishes doing promotion for her book, Morris has to prepare to hit the road.

She will be traveling across North America throughout the summer on her RSVP Redux Tour.

The concerts will take place in smaller, more intimate settings beginning May 29 in San Francisco and continue through September 13 in New Glasgow, Canada.
