Margaret Qualley and husband Jack Antonoff enjoy an NYC stroll as he steps out after awkward red carpet interview

Margaret Qualley and her new husband Jack Antonoff were spotted holding hands while walking around New York City.

The Maid star, 29, was fresh-faced and bundled up in a long black coat. A hint of a blue top and black sweatpants could be seen below the coat.

The Bleachers frontman, 39, also braced himself for the brisk weather in a black jacket, fuchsia hoodie and black pants.

The newlyweds stopped to grab cups of coffee before continuing on their stroll.

The new snaps come after the music producer gave a cringe-worthy interview to GQ’s Amelia Dimoldenberg.

Antonoff – who is known for being a long time producer and collaborator of Taylor Swift’s – gave an awkward interview on the red carpet of the GQ Men of the Year event with the GQ contributor.

When Amelia said it was nice to meet him, he said nothing and instead scanned the crowd behind her as if looking for someone else – or someone more important.

She then asked Antonoff if his glasses were real which prompted a snide reply from the Don’t Take the Money singer.

‘Of course they are real,’ he quipped. ‘That’s extremely f**king offensive.’

‘That’s like asking, ‘Are you a piece of s–t? Are you a piece of shit?” he continued.

That pretty much ended the repartee between the two of them with Amelia throwing out some shade.

‘Get out of here. You want me to be rude? I don’t want to see you again,’ she said.

Meanwhile, Antonoff and Bleachers announced their upcoming new album, which includes a track called Hey Joe, prompting Swifties to wonder if he is calling out the Karma singer’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Alwyn and Antonoff were both honored at the Men of the Year event.

Bleachers has already dropped two singles from the new album – called Bleachers – due out on March 8.

Lana Del Rey sings on the just released song Alma Mater and she also co-wrote the song.

‘Sometimes you want people to feel like something almost sounds unattainable, and sometimes you want people to feel like they’re just in a room with you,’ Antonoff told Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe.

‘And so if I want it to feel like I’m just talking to someone or we’re in a room together, then I like to add things like random scratch takes or noises that remind you that you’re not in a heightened environment. … A song like this, I want it to be like I’m sitting on your basement floor with you.’
