Margot Robbie cuts a sophisticated figure in tailored striped suit

She’s nominated for Best Actress at Sunday’s Academy Awards.

And Margot Robbie looked every inch the movie star as she was spotted out in Los Angeles on Friday.

The 27-year-old Australian stunner commanded attention in a red and black striped suit for the Women In Film Pre-Oscar Party.

Daring to impress, the I, Tonya star showcased her delicate decolletage as the black tank underneath plunged low.

The tailored jacket boasted wide black lapels – complete with a white flower boutonnière – and straight cut shoulders.

Her trademark golden tresses were left long and loose as they cascaded just above her petite shoulders.

Margot trained extensively for her role in I, Tonya, and managed to perform practically all of the on-ice dance moves.

‘I felt like I lived at the ice skating rink,’ she told Rolling Stone last year.

‘Every time my alarm would go off at like 5 a.m. I’d be like, “I can’t do it again today, I’m still so bruised from yesterday!”‘

Two stunt doubles were cast to perform most of the jumps, while the triple axel had to be replicated in CGI.

Fans will have to wait and see who walks away with one of the coveted gold statues, but hopefully the show will be less of a drama-filled affair than last years, when the wrong Best Picture winner was read out by mistake.

In an explosive mix-up, La La Land was announced as the big winner, resulting in a member of the Academy rushing onto the stage with the correct winners envelope, announcing the prize was supposed to go to Moonlight.
