Margot Robbie devours Subway foot long named after her

 She might just be the most famous sandwich artist in the world.

And even though Margot Robbie may have come a long way from working at her local Subway on the Gold Coast, that doesn’t mean she still doesn’t like to chow down on a foot long every now and then.

While appearing on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa show on Thursday the I, Tonya star was presented with her very own ‘Margot Robbie Sandwich’ and was more than happy to take a bite.

The radio presenters teased out the segment by listing a number of Subway sandwich ingredients which Margot herself once told them she liked to order. 

‘Footlong, white bread, chicken teriyaki, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sweet onion sauce,’ Fitzy (real name Ryan Fitzgerald) said. 

The 27-year-old was quick to correct the funnyman telling him she would ‘never have said tomato’ and that she’s now gone back on her original order.

‘We were thinking you could maybe take a bite of the 6inch and then we could set it in resin,’ Fitzy said referring an infamous segment in which they turned Ricky Martin’s half-eaten sandwich into resin and mounted it before giving it away to a listener.

Wippa (real name Michael Wipfli) also presented Margot had received an award for Employee of the Year back in 2007, handing over a very official looking certificate with a Subway logo.

On Tuesday the star took to Instagram to share the incredible moment she learned she had been nominated for an Oscar.

Margot faces competition from Meryl Streep (The Post), Frances McDormand (Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri), Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water) and Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird).
