Margot Robbie opted for safety first as she wore a face mask while grabbing coffee with her husband Tom Ackerley and their newborn son on Thursday in Los Angeles.

The doting new parents welcomed their first child late last month, although the self-professed homebodies haven’t shared the actual date of his birth or his name.

The Barbie star, 34, was dressed casually in a baggy black sweatshirt and matching sweatpants with an oversized denim jacket.

Ackerley, whom she met in 2013 on the set of Suite Francaise, wore a white sweatshirt and black sweatpants with a black beanie.

Both film industry professionals wore black sunglasses as they pushed their son’s stroller down the tree-lined street.

In the second photo, both were carrying to go cups of coffee while Ackerley, also 34, grinned.

The two new parents are reportedly over the moon with their son and loving getting to know him and themselves in their new roles.

‘They waited a long time to get pregnant, so it was almost unbelievable when the baby actually arrived,’ an insider told People earlier this month.

‘They’ve both been settling into being parents. They’re homebodies so it’s been lovely to spend the time just them, at home with him,’ the insider added. ‘They’re so happy.’

During the summer, Ackerley gushed about his wife, saying the spend ’24 hours a day’ together.

‘It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing,’ he told the outlet.

Margot’s pregnancy was made public in July and the couple enjoyed a romantic ‘babymoon’ to Sardinia, Italy, at the end of August.

The expectant mom’s last red carpet event before her son’s birth was on September 9, when she attended the screening of the comedy movie My Old Ass.

The couple produced the movie starring Aubrey Plaza and Nashville’s Maisy Stella.

Tom and Margot first met in 2013 while working on Suite Française, where he was an assistant director, and she was in front of the camera.

They cemented their relationship after moving in together with other friends in a four bed house in Clapham, South London, which according to Margot was the ‘best days of my life’.

The couple got married in 2016 and are co-producers on a number of projects, including Hulu’s Dollface, through their production company LuckyChap Entertainment.

‘I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,’ Margot told Vogue in 2016.

‘And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot.

‘Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’
