In photos posted by Carey’s 13-year-old son Moroccan, the songstress donned furry ears and Alvin’s red outfit while her child dressed up as Simon in blue.
The duo were also joined by a friend of Moroccan’s who dressed up as Theodore in green.
The photos were also shared by Mariah and captioned by her son as ‘Happy halloween!! – 7 days later and during its time.. Heh serrryy.’

Mariah shares Moroccan and daughter Monroe, 13, with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, 44, who is a father of 12 with six different women.
Moroccan added several emojis to the caption, including a Christmas tree.
Moroccan posted the photos on Friday, hours before he and his sister took the stage during their mom’s concert at the Hollywood Bowl.
‘What do do you guys think about taking over the show while I go backstage for a little while?’ Mariah asked her kids as she prepared to leave the stage for an outfit change.
She then summoned her glam squad to walk her offstage. ‘You know I always need an escort,’ she quipped.
Moroccan was dressed in a red sports jersey and gray pants and headed for a drum set.

Monroe wore a strapless red mini-dress, fishnet stockings and black boots and grabbed a small electric guitar.
They then began playing the opening bars to The Waitresses’ Christmas Wrapping song while backup dancers joined them.
As soon as everyone was in place, they began singing the lyrics to the 1981 holiday classic.
The duo later performed a mashup of Let it Snow and Deck the Halls.
