Mariska Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann took their son August, 17, on a safari in Kenya over the holidays.
The Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star, 59, and her Younger alum husband, 56, usually keep their family life far from the spotlights the entertainment industry revolves around.
But this vacation was an exception and Mariska – who named her new cat after Taylor Swift’s song Karma – snapped a selfie in a jeep while the family traversed the nature preserve.
Mariska rocked true safari style in a tan blouse under a red and black checked shirt and a brown safari hat. She had black sunglasses on her face and a blue bandanna tied around her neck.
Her son smiled at the camera from the backseat in a blue T-shirt while looking like a perfect mix of his parents.
