And it appears Mark Philipoussis and his wife Silvana’s relationship is stronger than ever, as Mark deals with his beloved father Nick’s child sexual assault charges.
The 41-year-old tennis star is ‘leaning on Silvana for support’ during the ‘most difficult time of his life’, according to Woman’s Day.

‘If anything, they are more in love than ever because of this,’ an alleged ‘friend’ told the publication.
‘[Silvana] is one very strong woman to be sticking by Mark despite the sickening crimes his dad has been accused of. It’s a testament to their bond,’ they added.
The magazine reported Nick is scheduled to face his remittance hearing on January 24, where he is expected to stick with his ‘not guilty’ plea to the serious charges.

Nick, 68, was arrested and charged in June with two counts of oral copulation and sexual penetration of a child under 10, and 12 counts of lewd acts upon a child.
He was revealed to be hospitalised with a mystery illness last week, when he failed to show up for his initial remittance hearing.
‘It’s up to Nick’s son if he wants to tell people [what the illness is],’ his defence lawyer Ryan Teneglia told Woman’s Day.

While Mark has refused to comment publicly about his father’s charges, the magazine reported he is ‘believed to be standing by him ahead of the trial’.
He is being comforted by Silvana, who is reportedly encouraging him to ‘lead as normal a life as possible’ for the sake of their son Nicholas, three.
‘Mark has the full support of his wife – without her, he would have had a total breakdown,’ offered a ‘source’ close to the couple.
