Mark Wright embarked on an epic road trip to the Euros in Germany with his pal and Olly Murs on Sunday – who missed his first Father’s Day for the big day out.

The former TOWIE star, 37, and the singer, 40, woke up at 5am to take the journey all the way to Gelsenkirchen – a western city.

They took to their social media to share the trip with their followers as they posted hilarious videos singing in the car and even thinking they had taken a wrong turn and were on the way to Amsterdam at one point.

They did make in time for the match however after a long day of driving and enjoyed beers at the stadium where England beat Serbia 1-0.

The pair also revealed they had made a new football remix of Olly’s hit Heart Skips a Beat – inserting footie puns and some of the famous players’ names.

Olly missed his first Father’s Day for the big day out – after welcoming a baby with his wife Amelia in April.

Last week Olly revealed how his baby daughter Madison prefers him singing Take That’s hits to his own after he supported the group on tour.

The star said the pop band’s back catalogue were now favourites when serenading the two-month-old off to sleep.

He told The Mirror: ‘My go-to lullaby is Take That, because I’m on your with them. They’ve got a new song called Windows so I actually sing that to her’. 

‘I did sing my song Heart On My Sleeve to her the other day, but yeah, like I said Take That songs seems to be the ones that she likes’. 

He also confessed how Take That frontman Gary Barlow, 53, informed him he was now a member of the ‘DILF club’ –  an acronym for attractive older men with children.

Telling the publication: ‘I didn’t even know that was an actual club, but It was quite funny, we were backstage and Gary or someone mentioned it and I found it quite funny. A good moment’.

Gary shares Daniel, 22, Emily, 19, and Daisy, 13, with wife Dawn, the couple were also parents to daughter Poppy who was tragically delivered stillborn at full term on in 2012. 

Olly performed his first gig ‘as a daddy’ just 48 hours after welcoming Maddison when he returned to the stage to open for Take That in Leeds. 

During his set Olly announced: ‘What’s so amazing about tonight is it’s my first show as a daddy’.

‘I’m going to try and not get emotional. Little Madison is doing really well.’ 

‘She’s at home with my lovely wife and it’s a real honour to be here. I wasn’t going to leave you guys hanging tonight, I’ll rush home to see the baby.’ 

Elsewhere during the tour he shared sweet backstage moments with his wife and baby daughter as they joined at the O2 Arena in London.

The family shared the cute moment as they kissed before he raced out to perform to thousands as he showed his determination not to miss out on his early days of fatherhood. 

Olly captioned the video: ‘Last night at the o2 tonight. brb girls #ontour.’

He also shared a photo of himself and his wife and daughter as they posed in the empty arena before the show kicked off.

Olly added: ‘Bye o2  6 unbelievable nights but tonight’s one was extra special.’

It came after he raced home from one of the O2 shows back to Essex to spend time with Amelia and Madison.

After performing to thousands at the venue on a Friday night, Olly was back to reality, changing Madison’s nappy.

Sharing a carousel of photos from his night on stage and culminating in a sweet new snap of him and his daughter at the changing table, Olly quipped on Instagram: ‘What my Friday nights look like these days (swipe to the end).’ 

During his Friday night gig, Olly told the crowd how he has been juggling nappies and late nights, but feels guilty he has been working away from home.

‘It’s been the most craziest time. Cos obviously on one hand I’ve got this beautiful baby girl, my wife is at home looking after her with the nappies, and the sleepless nights.

‘And I’m on tour with Take That. I feel guilty!’
