Mark Zuckerberg continues bromance with UFC superstars Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya

More photos and video have emerged of UFC superstars Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya spending time with Mark Zuckerberg ahead of his hyped billionaire bout with Twitter rival Elon Musk.

On Tuesday, the Meta boss posed for snaps with UFC Featherweight Champion, Volkanovski, and two-time UFC Middleweight champ’ Adesanya at a gym in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

On Wednesday, Adesanya posted a video of the trio spending time relaxing on the lake, with Zuckerberg casually wakeboarding off the back of a boat and the two UFC champions soaking up the sun.

Later, Adesanya also posted some photos of he and Zuckerberg training together alongside the caption: ‘We both have South Africans to deal with.’

Adesanya is referring to undefeated middleweight contender Dricus Du Plessis, who he will likely fight next, and Zuckerberg’s bitter tech rival Elon Musk.

Last week, Volkanovski’s agent confirmed that the Australian had been approached about training Zuckerberg ahead of his MMA fight against Musk.

Zuckerberg is a big fan of MMA and in recent years has developed a good friendship with Volkanovski.

‘Yeah, he’s a mate,’ Volkanovski said last year before a fight. ‘I knew well before he made the appearance at the UFC that he’s a big fan. He loves the sport.

‘I do consider him my mate. Again, he’s a cool dude, we get along.’

It’s unknown if ‘Zuck’ – a Harvard dropout – will do much more training with  Adesanya though he’s been offered to be coached by a wide range of elite UFC fighters including Jon Jones.

On the other hand, Musk has received similar offers from other high-profile mixed martial artists, such as Jorge Masvidal, Dominick Cruz, and Georges St-Pierre.

A confirmation and official date for the much-speculated bout between Musk and Zuckerberg have yet to be revealed.

Last week, Musk admitted that he need ‘a lot more training’ after a few grueling sessions with St. Pierre, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters in MMA history.

An official date for the much-speculated bout between Musk and Zuckerberg has yet to come

The 52-year-old posed for a photo alongside GSP, popular American podcaster host and combat expert Lex Fridman, and martial arts instructor John Danaher as he gets himself in shape ahead his predicted $25million pay-per-view purchase fight with ‘Zuck.’

GSP also shared the same image, joking at the wealth of knowledge displayed in the pic, tweeting: ‘Great training session with 3 men that I really admire. Combined IQ in this photo is 1000. « Not including me »’

‘Really fun! The obvious conclusion is that I need a *lot* more training,’ Musk replied for his part on Twitter.
