She first revealed she is bisexual in a candid interview with LGBT publication DIVA last year.
And revealing she has ‘always had feelings for girls’ since a young girl, Marnie Simpson, 25, spoke openly of her sexuality while embarking on her very first date with a female for MTV dating show Single AF.
The Geordie Shore star found herself paired with a Brazilian beauty on the series and not holding back while she discussed her younger years, Marnie revealed she used to experiment with her sexuality with her friends while she was in school.
‘I always knew I liked girls’: Marnie Simpson, 25, spoke openly of her sexuality while embarking on her very first date with a female for MTV dating show Single AF
Making the confession just moments into her date, the starlet revealed: ‘I always knew that I liked girls because when I was younger and in school, I used to invite all my friends over to sleep.’
‘Where we’d be top and tails in a single bed, I used to always put my feet on their vaginas,’ she claimed.
Marnie hit headlines when she revealed her sexuality in Heat magazine, insisting the issue was constantly on her mind and making her feel anxious.
She said: ‘I’m constantly worrying, so why don’t I just come out and say it? I think it’s empowering. I think it could help other girls as well. Me being honest about my sexuality might make others want to be as well.’
That’s one way to break the ice! Marnie told her date she used to experiment with her sexuality with her friends while she was in school and would ‘put her feet on her friend’s vaginas’ when they shared a bed during sleepovers
The brunette beauty continued: ‘I was constantly thinking about it. I already feel better to just say it. When I was 19 I realised I would look at some girls in a different way. I’ve always kissed girls but I don’t think I took it seriously till I had an encounter with a girl last year.’
‘To me, that was different because it was just me and her. It wasn’t for any other reason than I wanted to, so it made me think differently. I’m still a bit hesitant to have a full-blown relationship with a girl, but I do think it would be a possibility.’
Since speaking about her sexuality, Geordie Shore fans have seen Marnie get intimate with her co-star Chloe Ferry on the show, with reports claiming scenes of the girls ‘having sex’ had to be cut from the reality series for being ‘too X-rated’.
Chloe has previously addressed her close relationship with Marnie in an interview with The Sun in August and joked that the duo are ‘lesbians’, while claiming Marnie is reluctant to ‘go all the way with her’ in case she ‘catches feelings’.
She added: ‘That’s me and Marnie. When we’re drunk we just do these things, but it doesn’t mean anything… it’s just a drunken fumble.’

Marnie, meanwhile, had addressed their dalliance in her autobiography and claimed her intimate encounter with Chloe ‘hadn’t been real’.
She claimed: ‘It sounds silly, but it’s not real. We don’t take it seriously, we just giggle and laugh. Because it’s Chloe, it was like I wasn’t really doing it.’
Now, the reality star is loved-up with new boyfriend, former X Factor star, Casey Johnson. Romance actually blossomed for the duo on MTV’s Single AF, despite the pair being sent out on dates with other people.
Their relationship has continued since filming wrapped and proving things are going from strength to strength, the duo are buying a house together.
Marnie tweeted that their new abode was ‘coming together’ after purchasing new floors for the property, before teasing that their new pad is in London.

Marnie wrote: ‘Picked out the new floor today for our new house. It’s coming along nicely @CaseyCodyJ #LondonBound #HomeOwners #DreamHouse #Excited.’
While things are going well for the duo, producers were said to be less than impressed by the duo’s budding romance on Single AF, as it went entirely against the premise of the show.
Viewers witnessed the early sparks in their romance during Tuesday’s episode, which saw them share their first kiss whilst skinny dipping.
Union J’s Casey, 22, initiated the flirting as he crashed Marnie’s blind date in Mexico, with their chemistry apparent after the two of them were left alone.

Marnie, 25, remarked: ‘It obviously just takes some balls to come and sit down on my date… You know what, it is quite sexy.’
As Casey admitted that he thought she was looking ‘really good’, Marnie probed: ‘Did I? Did you fancy us?’ Not holding back, he confessed: ‘Yeah. I do fancy ya,’ as Marnie reciprocated his words.
Casey then admitted out of Marnie’s earshot: ‘I came on this show to date and I never thought it would be Marnie to catch my eye.’
And proving she felt the same way, the CBB star told cameras: ‘You know what, Casey’s fit, it’s a hot night, I’ve had a s**t load of wine… Please don’t judge us you lot.’
Letting go of her inhibitions Marnie then stripped off and jumped into the pool for a skinny dipping session alongside Casey, with the pair sharing their first kiss whilst nude in the water.

Shunned: Marnie’s blind date was crashed on the show with it clear that she wasn’t feeling anything for the man she had been paired with
Although, it has now been claimed that MTV are ‘not happy’ with the relationship between Marnie and Casey for not following the show format, as it was designed to give people the chance to date their celebrity crushes.
Sources told The Sun: ‘MTV are not happy. They signed them as singletons looking for love and going on dates, but they’re only interested in each other and not taking the show seriously.
‘Worse still, they are doing nothing to hide their feelings and have been posting loved-up videos and pictures on social media.
‘It’s like they’ve just been given a free couples holiday! It’s the first time anyone has done a live dating show so MTV are putting a lot of effort in – it’s just a shame Marnie and Casey only have eyes for each other.’
