Married At First Sight 2024: Shock theory on why Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams are still together

Married At First Sight’s controversial couple Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams are still together despite the odds stacked against them.

And fans have taken to social media to share their shock theories on why Jack, 34, and Tori, 27, have continued on in the experiment.

One fan theorised that ‘Jack and Tori have some sort of pact’.

‘The only thing I can think that makes sense is Jack must of told Tori from day one “Hey look I’m not that attracted to you, but if you stick by my side and stand up for our relationship through this experience you will earn my undivided respect and we will make it to the end of the experiment”,’ they said.

Fans were quick to comment on the theory and agreed.

‘The smirk on their faces last night when they sat back on the couch confirmed this suspicion for me. Clearly just trying to get famous,’ one wrote.

‘Maybe they get paid more to play the villain till the end,’ another fan suggested.

‘Definitely! I’ve said that from the start, it’s the only thing that makes sense,’ one other said.

Others pointed out that relationship expert John Aitken was also not ‘buying it’.

‘He can see they are playing it,’ they said.

During Sunday night’s episode relationship expert Aiken, 53, became frustrated with groom Jack, 34, after he failed to adequately express his feelings to his wife Tori, 27.

‘Tonight, you are going to open up. Jack, I need to know how you feel about Tori because I am not buying it,’ he said.

‘I like her a lot. I have developed some serious feelings for Tori, she makes me feel good,’ Jack responded.

However, Aiken was none having of it and told Jack he didn’t want to hear soft words like ‘good and okay’ – and asked for some genuine emotions.

‘Feelings? Something I’ve told Tori many times, when I’m with her I sleep really well,’ Jack responded.

His strange response prompted Aiken to ask Tori if she was happy with Jack’s words.

‘I think you could describe it a bit better than that,’ Tori told him.

Fellow relationship expert Mel Schilling, 52, then said her own husband would call her his ‘soulmate’ and say he feels ‘deeply connected’ to her – and she questioned why Jack didn’t use similar language.

Tori said that while she wasn’t in love with Jack she felt ‘safe’ with him and was willing to continue with their relationship, with both of them voting to ‘Stay’.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine.
