Married At First Sight groom Jack Dunkley admitted during Sunday’s commitment ceremony that he was dating a woman just weeks before appearing on the show.
The 34-year-old personal trainer, who is currently paired up with his TV bride Tori Adams, was questioned by relationship expert John Aiken on whether he was in a relationship when he signed up.
Jack admitted he had been seeing someone but eventually ended their relationship.
‘Firstly again I’m sorry that is has had to come out. The girl I was with was very passionate and I could tell she was looking for long term,’ he said.
‘I ended that relationship as respectfully as I could.’

‘How long ago was that?’ John asked before Jack revealed the relationship ended seven to eight weeks ago.
‘So just to be clear you were seeing someone else while you were talking with us?’ a shocked John said.
‘Yes but it wasn’t serious. It was a friends with benefit situation,’ Jack explained.
John then asked Tori on her reaction to Jack’s admission but she admitted her ‘level of trust hasn’t changed.’
‘What he was doing from the morning of the wedding and beyond is my concern,’ she said.
Jack and Tori both revealed they had decided to remain in the experiment.

It comes just days after Jack admitted on Tuesday he really did tell his ex-girlfriend he was ‘going overseas’ before appearing on the show.
Jack was recently accused of dumping ex Courtney Jade to go on the series.
While he said that isn’t the reason they split, Jack admitted on Today Extra he did lie to Courtney about where he was going following their breakup.

‘When I originally did the break-up, I kind of softened the blow,’ he said, adding that he didn’t feel right just telling Courtney he wanted to go on MAFS to get married.
‘I said I had some work to do in Sydney. [Courtney] turned around and said, “I’m going to move to Sydney. What’s your boss’ number? I’m going to call him and let him know I’m coming.”‘
Jack added: ‘It was a bit of a soft blow, but I had my hands tied a little bit. So, I regrettably said I’m actually going overseas for a few months. So, the door is shut.’
