To no one’s surprise, Married At First Sight couple Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly entered splitsville during their Final Vows on Monday night.

In some of the most bizarre scenes the Nine series has ever seen, Jacqui, 29, accused Ryan, 36, of organising ‘a gang attack’ on her.

She then tore the groom down with several pages of lengthy vows before leaving him cussing her out at the altar while she promised to return with a new man.

‘There has been a lack of romance, a lack of effort from you, poor communication, no compromise, and dominance,’ Jacqui said in her lengthy speech.

‘You crossed a majority of my boundaries, and your conduct fell well below the standard of what I’m willing to accept in a marriage.

‘If this experiment taught me anything, it’s that you shouldn’t try and fix your husband. He needs to do the work on his own. I’m not a rehabilitation centre.’

At this point, Ryan burst out laughing, clearly having had enough of listening to Jacqui tear him a new one.

‘That’s ridiculous, but go on,’ he said.

Jacqui, sporting a smirk as she watched her now ex-husband talk down on her vows, said: ‘Don’t call my final vows ridiculous, that’s not nice.’

She continued with, ‘I don’t want to be spoken over when I try to speak,’ to which, of course, Ryan responded by immediately speaking over her with snide comments.

‘My only tip for you is to look into how pride might affect your openness and growth and from there, lean into humility,’ Jacqui continued.

‘Tolerating your behaviour is isolating. The way you speak and control the people and animals you love scares me.

‘You’ve allowed your friends to scold me—yelling at and scolding adults is disgusting. You planned a gang attack on me.’

Once again, Ryan laughed at this comment, saying, ‘Good lord, a gang attack.’

Jacqui went on to say: ‘Your complete lack of self-reflection, apologies, pride and ego are the reason we couldn’t deal with our key issues in this relationship.

‘I was always open and willing to listen and fix. It’s not me, your pride is the problem.’

Ryan couldn’t let the blame slide, prompting the two of them to get into an argument over who was at fault for their relationship failing.

After a few moments of back and forth, Jacqui managed to finish her vows.

‘As a man, you’re not perfect. It’s not the 1920s anymore. I don’t want to be the wife to a man. I want to be a wife to a husband,’ she said.

‘So, today, I choose peace and to walk away from this relationship. Ryan, in a world of red flags, you are the red carpet.’

As Jacqui left Ryan at the altar, he called out to her: ‘Thanks for all the criticism. You haven’t grown. Not one bit. Be gone with you, you horrible woman.’

But as producers pulled Ryan aside to listen to him trash talk his former TV wife, Jacqui was telling producers she had a feeling a new man would come her way soon.

‘I’m hopeful I will find my person; I just don’t know when it’s going to be. I have a feeling it’s going to happen sooner than I think,’ she said with a smile.

Those who follow along with Daily Mail Australia will know that shortly after Jacqui and Ryan split at Final Vows, the jewellery maker did indeed find a new romance.

In a shocking ‘couple swap’ moment, Jacqui shacked up with fellow co-star Clint Rice, who was originally paired up with Lauren Hall.

The pair currently live in Tasmania together and are expected to attend the reunion hand-in-hand.
