Married At First Sight bride Lauren Dunn reveals the sad reason that she’s blocked majority of her cast members: ‘It was quite hurtful’

Married At First Sight’s Lauren Dunn has revealed the heart-wrenching reason behind her decision to block most of her castmates on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Lauren, 32, opened up about the betrayal and hurt she experienced, shedding light on the darker side of reality TV fame.

Lauren claimed the blocked castmates had set up a group chat and were talking negatively about her behind her back, which made her feel betrayed.

‘Honestly, once I found out that everyone was in this group message, conspiring to bring me down, it was quite hurtful,’ she explained.

‘A lot of those people in that message would still message me every day, telling me how much they love me and love watching me on the show. They’d say they’re so proud of me and that I’m doing so well.’

She continued, ‘Once I realised there was quite a bit of hate and maybe a little bit of jealousy going around, I was really hurt.’

‘I was warned that this happens every year, but it still hit hard to see it happening to me. The block list is pretty extensive, I’m not gonna lie.’ 

Lauren clarified that her decision to block her castmates was not out of malice, but a necessary step for her mental well-being.

‘It’s not to be mean to them. I just honestly don’t have time for any of the post-show drama,’ she said.

‘Honestly, once I found out that everyone was in this group message, conspiring to bring me down, it was quite hurtful,’ she explained 

‘I haven’t been getting involved in it whatsoever. The most involvement I’ve had is just answering these questions now. I just don’t care anymore.’

Lauren has since explained she still keeps in touch with co-star Sara Mesa, Lucinda Light, Tristan Black and Timothy Smith. 

Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Lauren’s blocked co-stars include her ex ‘husband’ Jonathan McCullough, Eden Harper and Ellie Dix.

Andrea Thompson, Cassandra Allen and Michael Felix are also believed to be blocked.
