Married At First Sight bride Tayla Winter slams the ratings hit

Married At First Sight bride Tayla Winter slams her ‘fabricated’ villain edit on the show: ‘I wanted to get out as soon as I started’

She was known on this season’s Married at First Sight as a ‘villain’.

But Tayla Winter says her image on the hit dating show was ‘fabricated’ by producers.

The 27-year-old nurse from Hobart in Tasmania has now heaped criticism on the ratings hit, including the show’s relationship experts.

The blonde beauty, who was matched with Sydney IT account manager Hugo Armstrong, spilled her secrets in an interview with The Mercury on Thursday.

Tayla, who made a dramatic mid-season exit, after sparks failed to fly in her ‘marriage’, told the publication her experience in the ‘experiment’ was mostly negative.

Describing her attitude going into The show as naïve, Tayla complained about the the filming process and its impact on her privacy.

Adding it was not what she expected, Tayla said, ‘I also didn’t expect to be woken with male film crew in my room with a camera in my face because they had 24/7 access to the room.’

‘What you see is around 5% of what actually happened and even that 5% that is shown to the public is so heavily fabricated,’ Tayla said.

‘The extent of editing is insane, I didn’t realise they could create conversations through taking bits and pieces of audio and putting them together.’

Meanwhile, Tayla also gave a serve to the MAFS relationship gurus, John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla.

‘They continuously challenged my values and made me look like a villain,’ Tayla said.

‘I was trying to leave as soon as I started,’ she added.

It comes after Tayla revealed she had developed feelings for MAFS groom Cam Woods, who was paired with the gorgeous Lyndall Grace.

Cam has since moved on with a new girlfriend, despite Tayla’s travel plans.

The outback carpenter, 27, told 9Entertainment he met his new partner at an after-work party in Darwin and immediately formed a connection with her.

Meanwhile, Tayla has revealed she’s planning a trip to Darwin to catch up with him.

‘I know a lot of people have been asking and making assumptions about my friendship with Cam,’ she told The Herald Sun this week.

It comes after Cam sent his co-stars into a frenzy when he admitted that he exposed his penis during a X-rated FaceTime call while out with mates at a nightclub.

‘I got me d**k out in a nightclub… There’s nothing going on there, it was a p**s take after the Final Vows,’ he explained.

‘I got naked in a nightclub while I was on FaceTime to Tayla, and one of the boys was holding it.’
