‘We’re expecting a baby!’ Married At First Sight’s Josh Pihlak drops a bombshell about his relationship with Cathy Evans during a live radio interview

Married At First Sight’s Josh Pihlak and Cathy Evans were the first couple to have sex this season.
And on Wednesday, truck driver Josh told Hit FM’s Carly & Seamus the newlyweds are expecting baby.
But it appears he was just joking, as he added with a laugh: ‘We’re expecting a baby in June.’

If Cathy was expecting in June, she would be showing by now – and recent photos of the logistics investigator prove she most certainly is not pregnant.
Josh, 28, made the bizarre joke when asked if he and Cathy, 26, were still together two months after filming wrapped.
He claimed they were, before hastily saying that he didn’t want to leak spoilers.

‘I don’t know why [other MAFS stars] are doing that. They take the fun out of it,’ Josh added.
‘If someone saw a new movie and told me how it ended, I would be mortified and wouldn’t want to see the movie! It takes the fun out of it.’
When asked if there would be legal consequences for leaking spoilers, Josh said: ‘I just signed the contract, I didn’t even read it.’

MAFS season seven is only into its fourth week and a handful of couples have already consummated their ‘marriages’.
Cathy and Josh were the first to be intimate, sealing the deal while on their honeymoon in rural Victoria.
Around the same time, Stacey Hampton and Michael Goonan slept together during their post-marital holiday in Fiji.
Mikey Pembroke and Natasha Spencer, and Hayley Vernon and David Cannon have also had sex during the experiment.
