Married At First Sight couple Ellie Dix and Ben Walters’ rocky relationship almost reached tipping point during Wednesday night’s shocking episode.
The couple were attending the group Dinner Party, when Ellie, 32, revealed she and Ben were on shaky ground over their conflicting views about having kids.
As the other brides interrogated Ben for ‘mocking’ Ellie and telling her she ‘wasn’t a good match’ for him, Jonathan, 39, quickly got involved.
The brides put Ben on the spot and bluntly asked him if he believed Ellie was a good match for him.
After pausing for several seconds he responded with a quiet ‘yeah’, which prompted Jonathan to lash out at him.

‘Come on man, you can be honest. You can say that you are working through things,’ a fed up Jonathan told Ben.
He later defended Ellie’s honour, revealing to producers he believes Ben is ‘batting way above his average’ as Ellie is ‘beautiful’ and ‘lovely’.
‘I don’t buy Ben’s story at all. Nothing he says seems real to me,’ Jonathan told the camera.
Jonathan then bluntly told Ben he needed to be honest with Ellie and reveal if he was ready to settle down and have children.
‘I’m at a stage where I’m ready to settle down. If kids are after that then yeah,’ Ben responded.

However, Jonathan was not satisfied with his response and accused the fellow groom of being non-committal: ‘That’s not a yes or no answer!’

Ellie and Jonathan will announce their relationship during the show’s reunion.
Their clandestine affair allegedly began with secret text messages exchanged during the filming of the show after Ellie ended things with partner Ben.
