Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson is mercilessly mocked over embarrassing detail in a video of her ‘writing’ her new book on a laptop

Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson has been mocked for pretending to type in a video where she proudly announced she had almost finished writing her new book.

On Tuesday, the former reality star, 39, shared a clip of herself putting the finishing touches on the tome.

‘Have nearly finished MY FIRST BOOK!’ she wrote smugly over the footage.

While many over her followers wished her well, a few keen-eyed commenters noticed she wasn’t actually touching the keys of her laptop in the footage.

They made fun of the budding author’s performance with laughing emojis, while one commented ‘touch typing? you wish, Jules’.

Jules also captioned her post with ‘thank God for spell check,’ to which husband Cameron Merchant, 39, replied jokingly in the comments: ‘Your hubby can now also throw in “spell check” to his resume.’

The staged video comes after Cam shared a moving tribute to Jules late last year, to mark their five-year anniversary.

The former reality star posted a gallery of loved-up wedding pictures from 2018 to Instagram.

‘I want a person who comes into my life by accident, but stays on purpose. It’s been five years since I met my best friend Jules and got married sight unseen,’ he began.

‘Still feel it was one of the best days I’ve ever experienced… and never would you think that in some of these photos we’ve only known each other for hours.

One photo captured the couple exchanging vows at a scenic outdoor venue and another showed them sharing a big kiss as husband and wife.

The couple later married for real in November 2019 and welcomed son Oliver in September the following year.

In 2022, Jules sparked rumours they were planning for baby number two, after she confessed she was determined to have a girl.

She said on her podcast that after discovering her chances of having another boy were high, she decided to do everything she could to try to conceive a girl.

The hair and makeup artist said she’d spoken to a friend, who offered her some unorthodox advice for producing a girl.

‘Her advice was pretty out there… You have to ‘dump’, meaning the opposite to lying with your legs up after sex,’ she revealed.

The lovebirds reside in a beautiful house located in Sydney’s scenic Northern Beaches.
