Former Married At First Sight star Liam Cooper says he deeply regrets getting fat injections in his face.
In an emotional Instagram post, the 32-year-old said he’d been left with body image issues from the procedure, which he had done a year ago.
‘At the time I was told fat Injections are just like filler,’ he admitted.
‘Well let me tell you something, I hardly regret things in my life, but this is one that I HIGHLY regret, and when I say highly, I mean if i could turn back time, I would!’ he continued.
‘Because of this, I now have body image issues and at points hate what my face looks like now. I hate it that much, I hate looking at myself in photos.’

Liam went on to say that he now avoids taking photos and is fearful to even upload videos on his Instagram Stories.
‘I am now in the process of reversing this and I can’t bloody wait!’ he added.
Liam made history on the eighth season of Married At First Sight as the show’s first ever bisexual groom.
He was paired with Georgia Fairweather on the series, but the couple split at the end.
Liam told The Wash in 2021 that he wasn’t prepared for the amount of backlash from viewers he received during his time on MAFS.

‘It surprised me when I received those comments, as I’d only had nothing but positive things generally being said to me [before the show],’ he said.
Following his experience on the Channel 9 experiment, Liam says that he hopes that viewers educate themselves and learn to treat everyone the same – regardless of their sexuality.
And while he may have not found love with his bride Georgia, Liam found happiness with MAFS NZ groom Samuel Levi.
