Married At First Sight star-turned-real estate agent helps The Veronicas’ Jess Origliasso and her fiancée Alex Smith buy their new Gold Coast home

Former Married at First Sight star turned real estate agent Jake Edwards has helped purchase an amazing new seaside flat for pop singer Jess Origliasso.

The Veronicas singer, 38, purchased a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment on the Gold Coast with her fiancée Alex Smith in May for $1,730, 000.

Located in Palm Beach, the stylish top-floor beachfront home is set to feature in a new series called Celebrity Renovations.

Posting the news to his real estate brand’s official social media, Jake told fans they be able to watch Jess and Alex take on their home renovation from ‘start to finish’.

Highlights of the property include amazing ocean views, a spacious kitchen with stone bench top and a beautiful private balcony.

Each level of the two level apartment boasts a bathroom. There’s also a spa bath.

Meanwhile, Jess and Alex posted a new video on the Celebrity Renovations Instagram page teasing their plans for the new purchase.

Jess explained that it was the flat’s view – which includes views north to Stradbroke Island – which sold them.

The loved-up pair can be seen packing on the PDA in the short clip as they banter over possible new features for the flat, with Jess’ plans for a shoe closet possibly a sticking point for Alex.

It comes after You Ruin Me hitmaker announced her engagement to Alex in September last year.

Jessica and her jewellery designer partner showed off their huge diamond rings in a share to celebrate.

They have since frequently shared sweet moments from their romance for Jessica’s fans on social media.

Jessica’s romance with Alex comes after she announced she had split from her American musician fiancé, Kai Carlton, in October 2020.

Meanwhile, former AFL star turned real estate agent Jake rose to fame after he was paired with Rebecca Zemek on Married at First Sight in 2021.

Last December, Jake announced he was set to walk down the aisle for real this time, after popping the question to longtime girlfriend Clare Rankin.
