Married At First Sight star Evelyn Ellis has revealed she was banned from flying overseas because she had a rip in her passport.
The 28-year-old wasn’t allowed to board a plane to Bali on Monday due to a small tear on her passport.
She shared a photo to Instagram from Sydney Airport after she wasn’t allowed on her flight.
‘Had a terrible day yesterday. I was denied boarding because of a small tear on my passport,’ she said.
Evelyn then visited an Officeworks store and had new passport photos taken so she could resubmit her paperwork.
However she revealed her photos weren’t approved writing: ‘Got my photos done at Officeworks but apparently that was not good enough.’
Despite the setbacks, Evelyn revealed she had finally made it on a flight to Bali on Tuesday.
‘OTW,’ she captioned a photo of herself smiling while enjoying a drink ahead of her flight.

Evelyn’s trip comes after her boyfriend Duncan James was less than impressed after he was recently forced to exchange an expensive gift he purchased for her.
The reality TV star, 37, shared a video to Instagram of the moment he surprised the influencer and model with jewellery from Cartier on her birthday.
But he was left devastated when she opened the box and informed him she already had the same necklace.
‘Stuffing up her birthday gift last week,’ he captioned the video.
He then shared another video of himself taking Evelyn to the luxury jewellery store to exchange her gift.

In the video, a downcast Duncan was seen waiting in a long line to enter the store while holding the unwanted gift.
After making it inside, Evelyn couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she tried on a silver Juste un Clou bracelet, which retails for $6250.
Duncan was then seen paying for the item before leaving the store.
Duncan and Evelyn have been going strong since announcing they were dating in May last year.
Evelyn confirmed her relationship with fellow MAFS groom Duncan, who was paired with Alyssa Barmonde on the show.
