They both chose to fight for their relationship during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony. 

But according to a Married At First Sight insider, Tamara Djordjevic, 29, and Brent Vitiello, 33, had ulterior reasons for writing ‘stay’. 

Speaking to New Idea magazine, a well-placed source claimed Tamara and Brent were simply hungry for fame and wanted to stay on the show for as long as possible to ‘boost their profiles’.

According to the insider, Tamara and Brent’s antics even ‘raised eyebrows’ among their fellow participants. 

‘Once everyone was able to get to know them better, it was clear they were the sort who crave the spotlight,’ the source claimed. 

During Sunday’s episode, restaurant manager Brent was left shellshocked after Tamara admitted to the experts that she wasn’t sure whether he was ‘good enough’ for her.

Despite their lack of chemistry, however, both Tamara and Brent elected to stay in the experiment. 

Tamara and Brent’s relationship has been rocky throughout the experiment.  

During the MAFS season premiere, Tamara shocked her ‘husband’ by saying she could never date someone who works in retail because it’s ‘below her’.

It was just the beginning of the drama, however, as Tamara repeatedly clashed with Brent on their wedding day. 

‘He does seem like an average kind of guy. Average just isn’t for me. I’m not average. I don’t do average,’ the surgically-enhanced blonde told producers. 

Her audition tape was also aired on Tuesday’s episode, in which she described herself as a ‘b**ch’ and complained about men who drive ‘really ugly cars’.
