Married At First Sight UK viewers were left cringing tonight after the Tayah’s mother grilled Adam for the second time – with many fearing her questioning could ‘ruin’ the couple’s marriage.
Estate agent Tayah, 25, tied the knot with electrician Adam, 26, on the series, and while the couple instantly hit it off, mother-of-the-bride Rachel was ‘horrified’ at her daughter’s appearance on the show.
At the reception, she shot a series of personal questions at him before telling the groom: ‘You may not be right to each other, you need to remember’.
On tonight’s episode, Adam was invited into Tayah’s home, but her mother was quick to share her doubts about her daughter’s involvement in the experiment.
After the couple told Rachel they were in love and wanted to move in together, she said: ‘You don’t really know each other. Is that something that you both really feel you want? I think it’s important you have a bit of time apart to sit back and reflect and sort your lives out.’
Many of those watching were left horrified by her comments, with one writing: ‘I don’t want Tayah’s mum to ruin things for Tayah and Adam.’

On tonight’s episode, Adam was invited into Tayah’s home, but Rachel was quick to share her doubts about her daughter’s involvement in the experiment
After arriving at Rachel’s home and settling in to the stay, the family settled down outside to discuss the relationship.
Meanwhile Tayah confessed she was nervous about breaking the news to Rachel that she was planning to move to Doncaster to live with Adam.
Tayah told her: ‘It’s been completely natural, every single day we’ve been laughing together.’
Adam added: ‘We just get along really well and we just seem to understand each other.’
Many of those watching were left horrified by Tayah’s mother’s comments, with one comparing them to ‘poison’
And after Tayah confessed they had already told each other they ‘loved’ each other, Adam admitted it was ‘quick’ and ‘weird.’
Tayah added: ‘It felt very natural and right. From what I’ve experienced in the past, this is a completely different feeling then I’ve ever had.’
Adam said: ‘It’s been a whirlwind.’
Tayah continued: ‘We’ve spoken about what we want and future plans and stuff. I will be making the move to Doncaster.’
Rachel said she felt ‘taken aback’ by them saying they love each other because it ‘seems very soon’
Rachel couldn’t hold back her surprise, staring at her daughter and questioning: ‘What are you going to do? What are the job opportunities?’
She later told the camera: ‘I was a bit taken aback by them saying they love each other. It seems very soon.
‘I think they just need to reflect if this is what they really want to do.’
Meanwhile Tayah said: ‘The thing is with my mum, she’s quite a hard nut to crack and she just wants to know I’ll be protected and happy.
‘I definitely expected awkward and uncomfortable questions.’

But as the family settled down with a cup of tea, Rachel continued: ‘I think you Tayah know when you mentioned, this idea, I had quite severe reservations.
‘But having had this time, I feel a lot more comfortable about this whole thing.
‘The experts have done a really good job in matching these two together and that became more apparent and the connection as the day wore on.
‘It’s put my mind a bit more at rest. Yes I had huge reservations about this.’
However viewers were stunned by Tayah’s mothers comments, and many said they feared she would ‘ruin’ the couple’s happy marriage.
One wrote: ‘Tayah’s mum will never accept this relationship.’
Meanwhile another wrote: ‘Tayah’s mum is very aggy’, while a third commented: ‘Tayah’s mum is poison, nobody needs that negativity.’
