Married At First Sight villain Shannon Adams has issued a desperate plea to both Hugh Jackman and Marvel Studios to consider him as the next Wolverine actor.

Shannon sported a cheeky grin in the eye-popping snap, as he showcased his gym-toned torso to the camera, which captured his muscular frame and throbbing veins.

The picture was reminiscent of Hugh Jackman’s iconic role as superhero Wolverine, and Adams captioned the photo with some telling words.

Unfortunately for Shannon, he may have to wait some time for Jackman to retire the Wolverine role, as he is returning as the character in the upcoming film Deadpool 3.

Filming for Deadpool 3, starring Hugh and Ryan Reynolds, wrapped in January and fans were recently treated to the first trailer for the epic movie, ahead of its July 25 release date.

In the clip, Ryan was seen in character as Wade Wilson as he suited up to take on the Time Variance Authority and decide the fate of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hugh previously said he was done with playing James ‘Logan’ Howlett after 2017’s Logan, even after multiple pleas from Ryan, but eventually decided to return for Deadpool 3 because it felt right in his gut.

He first played the role in the 2000 blockbuster X-Men, and has returned for several sequels and spin-offs.

In October, Shannon welcomed his second child, a daughter named Zarliah, with his on-again off-again partner Jamea Drake.

Jamea, who was in contact with Shannon while he was filming MAFS in 2022, welcomed their daughter on September 24, and announced the happy news on Instagram. 

Shannon finally confirmed the news to his own fans via Instagram page, uploading a black-and-white photo of himself posing shirtless while cuddling his bundle of joy.

Shannon was often labelled a ‘villain’ during his stint on MAFS an in scenes that aired on the Channel Nine show, was caught calling his ex-girlfriend shortly after moving in with his TV ‘wife’ Caitlin McConville.

Caitlin spotted Shannon taking a sneaky call in their apartment only to find out he was talking to his former flame.
