Married At First Sight wedding turns into disaster as guest ruins nuptials with secret

It’s the television event of the year, and Married At First Sight’s season 10 premiere certainly didn’t disappoint on Monday night.

The episode kicked off with plenty of drama after a guest confronted a bride with dirt about her groom just minutes after tying the knot.

Bronte Schofield’s nuptials turned into disaster after guest Jessica Tomlinson told the online beauty educator, 29, that she recognised her husband Harrison Boon, and that he dated her friend just days before their wedding.

‘I need to tell you something,’ she told Bronte after pulling her aside from wedding guests.

‘I have a friend that is from Sydney,’ Jess explained.

‘She told me about this guy that’s going to go on MAFS and that she has been dating for the last month and a half… It’s him, it’s Harrison.’

Jess then explained that Harrison told her friend that he wanted to be with her once he finished the experiment – and he was planning on spending each weekend with her.

‘No, no, you’re f**king lying,’ a speechless Bronte then replies.

‘I have a picture on my phone… That’s him,’ Jessica adds.

‘Yesterday, the day before the wedding, she sent me a picture saying he’s packing his bags. And he is about to go get married to someone on MAFS,’ she explains.

Jessica then pulled out her phone to show Bronte a series of messages Harrison exchanged with her friend in an effort to prove that they were in a relationship.

'I have a friend that is from Sydney,' Jess explained. 'She told me about this guy that's going to go on MAFS and that she has been dating for the last month and a half... It's him, it's Harrison'

After Bronte managed to compose herself, she walked over to confront Harrison about Jessica’s wild claims.

‘I need to do this now. Like I need to, can I just go do this now?’ she said.

After initially playing down Jessica’s claims, Harrison then admitted that he had been talking to several different girls.

‘I was seeing a number of girls before I came into this,’ he began.

‘I’m a single guy in Sydney and I didn’t know if [the show] was gonna last a week, a month, the entire experiment…

‘But I’m not in a relationship with anyone. They’re just people that I was seeing.’

‘I told her that I was giving this a hundred percent and it wouldn’t be right for us to continue.’

Married At First Sight continues on Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
