Married At First Sight’s Brent Vitiello suffers heartbreaking loss: ‘You were my best friend’

Married At First Sight star Brent Vitiello has revealed his beloved dog has died.

The former hospitality manager shared the heartbreaking news to his Instagram on Monday alongside a sweet photo of his dog.

‘Rest in peace my boy. You really were my best friend,’ he wrote.

Brent also shared a sweet video of himself playing with his beloved dog while laying on the floor.

‘Until we meet again,’ he simply captioned the post.

Brent was famously ‘married’ to Tamara Djordjevic on the ninth season of MAFS in 2022.

Unfortunately, they were never a good match, and their marriage soon went from bad to worse.

Their relationship finally came to a crashing halt during their final vows, which aired in March 2022.

Brent launched into a powerful speech calling out Tamara for her ‘vindictive, spiteful and self-absorbed’ personality and then tossed his speech in the air and stormed off.

Following his appearance on show, Brent shared a raw and heartfelt Instagram post revealing his secret battle with mental health.

He poured his heart out to his followers, revealing a very personal struggle that he’d kept hidden from the public eye until now.

‘This isn’t a ‘look at me’ post. This is the most real and raw I’ve ever been out loud and to the public…,’ Brent wrote before going on to describe the emotional turmoil he’d been wrestling with over the past three months.

‘From unhappiness and feelings of unworthiness, to bouts of depression and explosive anger, I hit a really dark space,’ the former waiter admitted.

‘The vicious cycle of pushing away the ones I loved the most, along with feelings of dread and regret, it’s all stuff we don’t talk about.’
