Former Married At First Sight bride Bronte Schofield has confirmed Adrian Araouzou slid into her DMs while filming the show.

The 29-year-old, who was infamously paired with Harrison Boon in 2023, shared the private messages Adrian sent her in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old Sydney-based sportswear brand owner contacted Bronte to ask her for advice during filming.

‘Let’s talk about it. Yes I knew Adrian before the show. He messaged me replying to a story,’ Bronte revealed.

She then shared the message he had sent her, which read: ‘I’m filming for MAFS now, anything I should be aware of?’

‘Everything hahaha. Just thoughts and prayers are with you my friend,’ Bronte responded, before warning him about the producers.

Adrian then admitted to Bronte that he and his partner Awhina Rutene, 31, ‘won’t end up together’ butt will become friends.

‘We do have chemistry, just not meant for each other. You’ll see if you do watch it,’ he said.

After a few months, the groom reached out to Bronte again, asking if she was telling people that they had been speaking during the experiment.

While she never showed her response, the influencer assured her followers that all of the speculation surrounding her and Adrian’s relationship had started ‘because he messaged me asking for advice on a TV show I had also filmed.’

‘I hope the MAFS is now maffing for you babe,’ she signed off the clip.

It comes after Adrian Araouzou was snapped getting cosy with former bride Bronte last week after he was called out for liking her sizzling bikini snaps on Instagram.

He was seen spending time with Bronte at the Cottesloe Beach Club in Perth, despite still being matched with Awhina on the show.

Adrian, dressed in a breezy white button-up shirt and light beige trousers paired with crisp white sneakers, was all smiles as he stood alongside Bronte.

Bronte flaunted her toned figure in a cream crochet halter top and high-waisted baggy jeans.

She accessorised with black sandals, a black backpack, and glowy, bronzed makeup.

Although fellow grooms Paul Antoine, Tony Mojanovski, and Eliot Donovan were also in attendance, Adrian and Bronte appeared to separate from the group and shared flirty banter at a side table.

During filming, Adrian was pulled aside and confronted over his online activity—specifically, liking Bronte’s racy Instagram content.

But he brushed off the backlash, telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘She’s hot. She’s more my type, so of course I’m going to like her photos.’

A source close to production revealed: ‘It was a total betrayal of the experiment. Adrian wasn’t here for the right reasons.’
