Married At First Sight’s Dan Hunjas looks glum as he steps out on the Gold Coast

Married At First Sight viewers have turned on Dan Hunjas after he brutally accused his TV wife Sandy Jawanda of cramping his style on Monday’s episode.

And the entrepreneur, 43, looked like he was preparing for the worst as he visited a cafe on the Gold Coast on Sunday. 

Dan, whose marriage is set to unravel on the show in coming weeks, looked glum as he sat at an outdoor table sipping his coffee.

Staring into the distance pensively, the reality star looked worlds away from the happy-go-lucky singleton who won viewers’ hearts at the beginning of the episode.  

At one stage, the exhausted-looking reality star covered his eyes as he listened to something on his phone. 

Dan dressed down in a black ‘Squad’ T-shirt, red shorts and Nike sneakers.

He completed his look with a pair of sunglasses and a wristband. 

After finishing his coffee, Dan walked back to his parked car and drove away.

It comes as fans slam Dan for his ‘gaslighting’ behaviour towards Sandy on Monday’s episode. 

During an argument, Dan accused Sandy of being an ‘overthinker’ and criticised her for not being interested in living an ‘active lifestyle’. 

‘You’re not an active person, you don’t want to be. I’m not feeling that energy or connection which is so important to me,’ he told her.

After finishing his coffee, Dan walked back to his parked car and drove away

‘What I’m trying to work out is are we compatible? That’s a big question mark,’ he added.

Sandy clarified the reason she couldn’t exercise at the beach with Dan is because she had the skin condition eczema and thus was allergic to ocean water.

Many Twitter users were appalled by Dan’s blunt words and quickly called the Gold Coast native out.

A third person said ‘Sandy is too smart for Dan’, while others accused Dan of ‘gaslighting’ his wife.

As of now, Dan is said to be cooperating with Channel Nine and has promised to ‘stay away’ from Samantha.

The cast also received a stern reminder about ‘playing the part’ and keeping storyline details under wraps until they have aired on television – this includes wearing their wedding rings for several more weeks.

Meanwhile, a guest who attended Dan and Sandy’s wedding claims he went rogue because he ‘wasn’t happy with his edit’ after watching footage at the cast reunion.

They told Daily Mail Australia producers tried to make Dan appear like a ‘soft, one-dimensional office guy’ so he would seem more compatible with Sandy.
