Married At First Sight’s Eden Harper reveals the real reason she exposed Sara Mesa’s ‘secret affair’ and if they are still speaking

Married At First Sight bride Eden Harper has revealed why she decided to expose Sara Mesa’s ‘secret affair’. 

Last week Eden accused Sara of secretly meeting up with an ex-boyfriend behind her TV husband Tim Caldwell.  

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Eden, 28, admitted that while she was close to Sara at the start of the experiment, she quickly realised their morals didn’t align.

She said she felt the need to do the right thing for Tim, Jayden, and herself. 

‘I definitely was a friend of Sara’s and I knew that I would lose that friendship, but there was three other things that I had to worry about at that time,’ she explained.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Eden, 28, admitted that while she was close to Sara at the start of the experiment, she quickly realised their morals didn’t align

‘I personally feel that all three of those reasons are far more important than my relationship with Sara.’ 

The recruitment manager described the tormenting week leading up to her decision to expose the affair. 

‘I don’t really know what I was supposed to do,’ she said.

Despite pressure from producers and her partner Jayden to expose it earlier, Eden said she needed time to process things.

‘I wasn’t telling them. I wasn’t telling Jayden. I really had to think about the way I wanted to go about it,’ she said. 

‘I personally feel that all three of those reasons are far more important than my relationship with Sara 

Motivated by Past Hurt

‘I’ve been in Tim’s position before where my partner’s been cheating on me and no one told me,’ she said.

‘It was really hard for me to do. ‘

Eden vehemently denied her actions were motivated by a desire for more screen time.

‘I actually felt production were really supportive of me,’ Eden said.

‘As for Jayden, he is very emotional. He’s reactive.’ 

Eden said the pair now do their best to remain civil for the sake of others. 

‘I definitely feel like I tried to be civil with her and say hello and stuff at some of the dinner parties coming up you’ll see that she ignores me,’ she said.

According to Eden, Sara now ignores her.
