Married At First Sight’s Ella Ding is ‘taking time off Instagram’ after filming Made In Chelsea: ‘It’s the hardest thing I’ve done since MAFS’

Ella Ding has some things to reflect on as she announced on Friday she would be taking time ‘off social media’ after she wrapped filming on Made In Chelsea.

The Married At First Sight star, 28, looked drained as she filmed a video in the back of a car, saying it was the ‘hardest time I’ve been through since MAFS’.

‘Just finished some filming for Made In Chelsea,’ she said on her Instagram Stories. ‘First of all, I do want to say a massive thanks to all the beautiful messages, the love and the support and the hype around it.’

She continued: ‘And it’s so cool how excited so many of you guys are for me. But I will say it’s probably been the hardest time I’ve been through since MAFS.

‘In good and bad ways, but it’s just been really testing and really challenging. So, I’m going to take the next few days off the grid, off social media because I really need it.

‘Especially travelling home, I just want to ground myself again, and yeah, reflection time guys. Journal reflection time and yeah, so I’ll be here but I won’t be here.’

The Aussie beauty then signed off by blowing her fans a kiss and writing the caption: ‘See you in a few days.’

Ella’s announcement comes just days after she hinted at a split from her Made In Chelsea love interest – despite the show not starting yet.

She took to Facebook on Thursday to reveal she hasn’t ‘officially joined the cast’ of the hit British reality show, but ‘filmed a short appearance while in London’.

'So I'll be here but I won't be here,' she continued, adding in the caption that she'll see her followers 'in  few days'

It was earlier confirmed Ella will appear as a love interest of star Miles Nazaire, after the couple connected on Instagram back in May.

Writing on Facebook this week, she revealed she ‘can’t say too much’ but is ready to return home.

‘Miles is kind and wonderful, we’ve had such a special time filming and getting to know each other. But [I’m] ready to get home [to Australia] and get back into a good space,’ she said.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Ella and Miles, 26, connected after he watched her on TV on E4 in the UK, the same channel Made In Chelsea is broadcast, and ‘there’s been a lot of flirting’.

Daily Mail Australia understands Ella was granted permission from both Channel Nine and Endemol Shine to appear on the series.

Participants would normally need to wait one year after their contract to appear on another reality show.
