Married At First Sight’s Jamie Marinos was left blindsided after watching a never before seen snippet from Couple Swap Week during the Monday night’s final episode of the show.

The fan favourite bride, 28, who was partnered with Dave Hand, 36, during the experiment, took to the couch with her TV husband on Monday to watch their marriage journey on the screen.

However, a certain scene saw Jamie get teary-eyed.

The controversial challenge, in which Jamie got partnered with Adrian Araouzou, 30, and Dave was partnered with Veronica Cloherty, 32, for three days, shed light on the cracks in the couple’s relationship.

In the clip, Dave and Veronica could be seen giggling in bed, a scene that set tongues wagging at the time it was aired.

As the camera panned to the pair, Dave told the camera crew: ‘You’re going to have to be quicker than that around here boys.’

Expert John Aitken looked visibly unimpressed by the comment as the clip continued.

Then, the scene showed Dave chatting to Veronica, admitting he was happy with their pairing during the challenge.

‘I think there’s been some uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. Not us,’ he told Veronica, who agreed with him.

‘Yeah look, we get on,’ Veronica told the camera as she burst out into nervous giggles.

Expert Alessandra Rampolla looked away with a face of disgust after the clip, as the camera panned to Veronica in the audience, who put her hand guiltily in front of her face.

But it was Jamie’s face that said it all as she watched the clip wide-eyed, blinking away tears and holding her breath.

Following the Couple Swap, Jamie and Dave’s relationship took a turn for the worst as he admitted that his feelings weren’t progressing as fast as his wife’s were.

Despite choosing to stay together at their Final Vows, the couple went their separate ways three weeks later, citing that their problems in the show became more ‘apparent’ in real life.

‘When you do have those feelings, you’re dying to see that person,’ Jamie said.

‘It just wasn’t happening.’

Dave went on to apologise to his TV wife for the way he behaved during the experiment and hurting her in the process.

‘I’m ashamed of the way I handled that,’ he confessed.

‘This was something so special and it just came to this abrupt halt and it was all my doing.

He added: ‘I’m so sorry that’s a part of our journey and it was caused by me.’

However, Jamie ended the couch session on a happy note, saying that she left the experiment with what she came for.

‘I came on here wanting to learn and to look back and go “what a great experience” and I feel like that’s exactly what him and I had,’ she said with a smile on her face.
