But returning groom John Robertson finally found his happily ever after when he was matched with journalist Melissa on Sunday’s episode.
Upon meeting her groom for the first time, the glamorous grandmother, 53, confessed she was a MAFS superfan, exclaiming: ‘Oh my god, I know who you are!’

The blushing bride couldn’t help but react to her famous groom like an overexcited fan as she gushed: ‘I’ve watched rerun and rerun and rerun!’
Referencing his first appearance on the show, Melissa said: ‘I can’t believe that you decided to do it again!’
The bride continued to heap praise on John in her private confessional.

‘I wasn’t expecting that it would be him at the end of the aisle, but I’m absolutely thrilled,’ she giggled.
John was just as pleased with his new wife, with the smitten business owner saying: ‘The initial meeting was wonderful.’
He continued: ‘Everything’s good about her. She’s bubbly, she’s charming.’
The new couple couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces as they gazed adoringly into each other’s eyes at the alter.

‘Everything’s good about her,’ gushed John, who was more than pleased to have a fan for a bride. ‘She’s bubbly, she’s charming.’
However, Melissa couldn’t stop mentioning John’s television past as they chatted after the ceremony.
‘I thought you would’ve had women knocking your door down,’ she said, referencing his reality TV fame.
‘I know a little bit about John from watching the show before,’ she later told producers, which was something of an understatement.
