Married At First Sight’s Lucinda Light breaks her silence over her falling out with TV husband Timothy Smith after he brutally cut her out of his life

Married At First Sight star Lucinda Light has broken her silence on the breakdown of her relationship with ex-partner Timothy Smith. 

The duo, who appeared on the 2024 series, initially left the show as friends despite failing to find romance with each other.

However, recent developments have caused a rift between the pair. 

Fans were shocked to discover Lucinda and Tim had quietly unfollowed each other on Instagram and untagged each other from shared photos.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Lucinda confirmed Tim had blocked her on the social media platform.

‘There are no hard feelings on my end,’ she said.  ‘My arms and doors are always open to him.’ 

Tim took to his TikTok page on Sunday to share a video message with his followers, urging them to cut ties with people who don’t respect their time.

‘As I went about my day yesterday, it made me think about time and how valuable time is,’ he said. 

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Lucinda confirmed the speculation, revealing, ‘Tim blocked me. There are no hard feelings on my end’

‘If people don’t respect your time – and respect is a big word – if they don’t appreciate or respect the time that you give people, cut them out.

‘Get rid of them. Time is the most valuable commodity that we have. 

‘We give it out so flippantly for free, and if you don’t respect it and appreciate it, then get rid of them.’

According to their season 11 co-stars, Lucinda and Tim’s falling out has come as a shock as the pair developed a very close friendship during their appearance on MAFS

He went on to tell his followers they shouldn’t ‘let anyone waste one minute of your life and time because if they don’t respect it, they don’t deserve to have it’.

He also hinted at private reasons behind the end of their friendship, stating, ‘Only three or four people know the real reason.’

In closing his video, Tim expressed goodwill towards Lucinda, saying, ‘I wish Lu all the best in the future. Sometimes people’s paths take different directions.’

According to their season 11 co-stars, Lucinda and Tim’s falling out has come as a shock. 

Some told the publication they were confused, but suggested it may be because Lucinda is ‘too busy’ to spend time with Tim.

Others agreed, with one star claiming ‘there is a lot of resentment towards Lucinda because she’s getting the most work and opportunities’.

However, they went on to add Tim was the least likely to be ‘jealous’ of Lucinda’s post-show success.
