Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: Nasser Sultan is ‘going hungry’ after spending TWO years jobless chasing fame – as he considers selling his $1.1million town house to buy food
Hard times have fallen upon Married At First Sight participant Nasser Sultan.
After quitting his job to film the Channel Nine show in August 2017, the 52-year-old is now ‘going hungry’ after blowing his savings in the past two years.
The part-time personal trainer has only managed to maintain a handful of elderly clients while focusing all his efforts on ‘making it’ as a celebrity.

‘Nasser has run his savings accounts dry while holding out for some kind of “big TV offer” to come his way,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday.
‘He’s barely earned anything in years and is now facing up to the reality that he may actually have to forget about his “celebrity” status and get a real job.’
The insider added that Nasser’s popularity peaked after his season ended in April 2018, and he naively believed his fame would ‘last forever’.
However, these days, the freebies, clothing sponsorships and complimentary meals at restaurants he was living off have dried up.

‘Nasser now going hungry and can barely even afford a meal,’ the source added. ‘He will literally do anything to survive at this point.’
Daily Mail Australia understands that Nasser’s only asset is his three-storey town house in Sydney’s Surry Hills, which he bought in 2003 for $346,000.
With the inner-city suburb having surged in popularity over the past 16 years, the one-bedroom property is now estimated to be worth $1.1million.
‘Nasser really does not want to have to sell his home,’ the insider explained.
‘It’s his sanctuary and he bought it with money inherited from his parents, so the place is very special to him. But if he doesn’t find work soon, he’ll have to downsize.’

Last year, Married At First Sight viewers watched Nasser exchange vows with Gabrielle Bartlett in a non-legally binding ceremony.
After their break-up, he was romantically linked to both men and women and briefly dated a fashion student and drag queen named Eyob Geist.
He went on to appear on Channel 10’s Trial By Kyle, released a rap single and was lined up to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! before Nine bosses nixed the deal.
